Paul Butler Associates won a planning appeal for the development of a contemporary single-storey house in the extensive rear garden of a large Edwardian house in Bramhall Lane South Conservation Area in Bramhall, Cheshire.

The Planning Inspectorate agreed that the new dwelling would not have an unacceptable impact on the historical and architectural character of the conservation area.  This decision was supported by a partial award of costs.
