Derker Masterplan
Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council
Paul Butler Associates led the production of a masterplan to guide the future redevelopment of the Derker area of Oldham.
The masterplan formulated an area-wide development framework and provided detailed design guidance for a series of regeneration projects. The masterplan formed a key part of Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council's bid for Housing Market Renewal (HMR) funding and helped to secure a grant for £53.5million.
The local community were involved throughout the project and we organised a series of consultation events including open days, presentations and design workshops.
